The price of PTFE suspended medium particles increased from 53,000 yuan/ton at the beginning of the year to 58,000 yuan/ton, an increase of 9.4%; the price of PTFE dispersion resin increased from 60,000 yuan/ton at the beginning of the year. It rose to 67,000 yuan/ton, an increase of 11.7%. The growth momentum was mainly due to the economic recovery after the epidemic, and domestic and foreign trade just needed to be promoted.

From mid-to-late May to early August, the economy of the epidemic has receded, the market has returned to flat, and the market has not been significantly positive, and Ptfe Products have fallen across the board. The price of suspended medium particles dropped to 41,000 yuan/ton, a decline of 22.6%, and dispersed resins fell to 53,000 yuan/ton, a decline of 20.9%.

The current round of PTFE price increases began in early August, and the price increase was mainly affected by tight supply, with more overhauls by manufacturers and low inventories. Entering September, the price of PTFE began to rise significantly. On the one hand, the downstream market of the terminal has entered the "Golden Nine and Silver Ten" sales season, and the investment and trading atmosphere is positive; on the Other hand, mainly affected by the chemical emission reduction and double reduction policies, companies have stopped production and restricted production. The industry's operating rate and inventory are low, and the rise in raw material prices has formed a favorable support. The dual benefits of supply and demand have driven the price of PTFE to rise sharply.
